We’re Going to Firefly!
To us, nothing says summer like enjoying some music in the great outdoors. We’re ready to kick off the beautiful weather doing just that! You guessed it… we’re so thriled to announce that we’ll be at the Firefly Festival this weekend! This music festival is held in Dover, Delaware from June 21 to June 23. While the Uncharted Play Team is ready to groove to awesome tunes performed by some amazing bands, we also cannot wait to bring the SOCCKET and have some fun with our fellow concertgoers! Aside from the fabulous lineup, another incredible thing about the Firefly Festival is the partnership with St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital. We feel lucky to be able to participate in such a special cause with the rest of the Firefly crowd! With that being said, we want to meet YOU. Be sure to stop by our tent and check out the SOCCKET in order to play some soccer, power the camp ground, and give back to the community. Who else is going to Firefly? Confederations Cup
The Confederations Cup is right around the corner and we at Uncharted Play couldn’t be more excited! We wanted to “kick off” the tournament by giving you some background.
This competition, held in Brazil this summer, is an association football tournament sponsored by FIFA. Eight teams participate: the winners of the six FIFA Confederation Championships (UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, CAF, AFC, and OFC), the FIFA World Cup Holder, and the host nation. This is often thought as a preparation for the larger FIFA World Cup Tournament. The Confederations Cup will be held from June 15 to June 30. This year, the teams participating are Brazil, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Spain, Tahiti, and Uruguay.

One of our favorite parts of the Confederations Cup is the fact that it acts as a global unifying agent through play.
